It never ceases to amaze me how millions of voters can consistently vote against their own best interests when it comes to electing the people who pass the laws they must live with in their daily lives, and who like and support politicians while despising the policies they pass into law. Of the 50 states, currently 31 have republican governors. and almost without exception, they are despised and vilified by a majority of their constituents, but somehow they get re-elected, and if not, another younger, richer and most extreme republican takes their place.
A recent study in the news this week has listed the most hated and disapproved governors in the US, and to no surprise, of the 15 most disliked governors, 12 are republicans.
Among that top 15, you have mindless nincompoops like Oklahoma’s Mary Fallin who twiddles her Koch-Brothers thumbs while her state has seen pervasive and restricted fracking increase earthquakes in the state from, well, NEVER, to oh, HUNDREDS of 3.0 and above per year.
