The gop is great at ganging up and beating up on people. They love to deny school lunches and public assistance payments to kids whose parents cannot afford healthy, nutritious, or often times any, meals for them. They love to reduce or eliminate unemployment benefits to out-of-work men and women who’ve lost their jobs through outsourcing, plant closures and the moving of plants part and parcel across the oceans to other continents. They would love to – and they keep trying to – deny and reduce social security and medicare benefits to the elderly who worked their entire lives and cannot afford to survive in today’s
Yea, they beat up on the weakest segments of society, but never on the strongest. And that is why they do not have the guts to say “screw you” and the train you road in on, to donald trump. No, starting with their impotent leader reince priebus, they are beginning to fall in line behind the fraud-in-chief, and to begin kissing his behind. No sooner had the ink dried on ted cruz’ campaign resignation speech, but priebus was on the Twitter, telling the gop the following:
“@realDonaldTrump will be presumtive @GOP nominee, we all need to unite and focus on defeating @HillaryClinton #NeverClinton”
“we all need to unite” – yep, no backing away from the walking, talking, confidence-gaming trump, no hint of a renegade candidate, not even of a power play at their convention, you know, the rumored rule changes to deny trump their actual nomination. Nope, the mantra is quickly becoming one of stand in line and kiss the ring, and start on the campaign trail. I can see it now:
House Speaker Paul Ryan, the candidate many in the gop longed for despite his woefully terrible vice presidential campaign just four short years ago, who after trump proposed the blocking of all Muslims from entering the country said: “What was proposed yesterday is not what this party stands for and, more importantly, it’s not what this country stands
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, when trump accepted the endorsement of the KKK’s David Duke. said the following: “Senate Republicans condemn David Duke, the KKK, and his racism… let me make it perfectly clear,.. that is not the view of Republicans who have been elected to the United States Senate, and I condemn his views in the most forceful way.” Well, now I can see the two on the trump campaign trail together: “David Duke knows what he’s talking about and he and I know that we, and the country, need donald trump!”
The list will be endless, as the rubios and the huckabees, as the ayottes and the collinses join the likes of christie and carson and palin and other brain-dead sociopaths to cross and re-cross the country, stumping for their idol, for the greatest man of the 21st century, for the next president of the United States……..
