dick cheney, the architect of george w bush’s foreign policy, domestic policy, and douche policy, formulated most every major aspect of the disaster that was the invasion of Iraq and the attempt to manage the country in the aftermath. Today, cheney not only continues to say that the invasion of Iraq was the right thing to do, but of course he blames President Obama for the crumbling of the artificial government and unstable society that they pieced together with popsicle sticks and Elmer’s Glue.
|Yet, when george h. w. bush ended the First Gulf War, with no attempt to remove Saddam Hussein and with no attempt to dismantle their centuries-old society in an effort to re-make it to fit his image of an illusionary democracy, it was cheney who vociferously backed the position of george h w bush, arguing that there was no way to replace Saddam Hussein's government were it removed, and that a quagmire would ensue, with parts of Iraq splintering off, in alliances with Iran and Syria, and with the Kurds aligning with Turkey.|

The single biggest failing of the Obama administration was the failure to fully investigate the crimes of george w bush, dick cheney, donald rumsfeld, condolezza rice, dick armitage, alberto gonzales, john negroponte, l. paul bremer, john yoo, george tenet, and the rest, and prosecute the lot of them to the fullest extent of the law.
